Most people are conscious of the presence of stress and tension at least part of the time.
Some people seem to thrive on it and see it as necessary in order to function properly. Hence, they always leave things until the last minute, as they seem to work better under pressure.
Others find it impossible to think or work under constant pressure.
Somewhere between the two, are a group who have learned to cope with tension by:-
1. Recognizing its physical presence and the effects on their bodies.
2. Learning ways of coping and problem-solving.
3. Getting things into perspective and working on better lifestyle habits.
4. Gaining insight into personal needs.
